Shelter Staff Come to the Aid of "Granny Granz"

Granny GanzGranny Ganz, a nine year old terrier was brought to TJ O'Connor Shelter with a serious medical problem. Without emergency surgery she would not make it. Normally sick animals are not put up for adoption since the shelter has neither the funds or veterinary staff to treat seriously ill animals at this time. Granny was taken to Riverbend Animal Hospital for treatment.TJO staff members Rob and Michelle dug deep into their pockets contributing $300. towards her medical bill. The remaining balance of $321.00 was paid for by the Dog Adoption Network.

Granny finding just the right spot! Now it's your turn!! Granny Ganz needs a home. Granny enjoys going for walks and loves her nice big fluffy bed to sleep on. She barks when it's time for her to go out and do her necessaries. Originally found in West Springfield, Granny lived with a lady for 2 months before circumstances changed and Granny could not stay. Granny Ganz is looking for that special human with a soft heart to enjoy life with. Please visit her at TJO Center.
