Protect Your Pet From Lyme DiseaseLyme Disease is a tick transmitted disease that has increased dramatically in prevelance in our area over the past several years. It has been found in both rural and city dogs, and in both free roaming, and totally confined dogs. In 2000, Massachusetts had the seventh highest incidence rate for lyme disease nationwide. Lyme Disease is spread by deer ticks clinging to plants near ground level, or in grassy and wooded areas.
