"At Long Last a New Shelter"

After many years of lobbying, the citizens of Westfield have a new shelter located at the entrance road of Barnes Airport.

Special recognition goes to Westfield's ACO, Ken Frasier who used his unique relationship with the City to promote this project. Volunteer Coordinator, Jon Lambert stressed the importance of continued funding in support of the new shelter. The new location is 178 Apremont Way, Westfield,Ma.
Their hours of operation are Tuesday thru Friday, from 12-5 p.m., Sunday, 10-2 p.m. The shelter is closed on Mondays. Phone number is 413-564-3129. Congratulations Westfield!!!

"Being Catty at Brown's.."

Once again A.W> Brown's Pet and Garden Store in East Longmeadow, Ma. hosted a cat adoption clinic on Sunday. Ginny Danforth of ANOTHER CHANCE FOR HOMELESS CATS said her organization is small, but there is a great need to save all of our feline friends.
