Murray formerly known as #8538
When my husband said, "It is a lot easier around here since you relented and are allowing the dog on the furniture" I replied "It's because I'm in love with him now...you wouldn't want me to let just anybody in my bed I wasn't in love with, would you?" The Canine in question is "Murray". I did not want a dog. In fact, I put my husband off for twenty years because being a pet owner is time consuming, sometimes messy and expensive. My excuse was "we can't leave a dog alone all day". I walk the hound at 4am. I do twice as much housework, leave work early, cry when we can't take him on vacation and have vet and kennel bills that make my frugal nature cringe. BUT,I really love him!! So I say GET A PET!! A big yellow, hairy, smelly, knuckle-headed 75 pounder may not be for you but I'm sure there is an animal who will make you as goofy about it as I am about my boy! Story sent in by Linda and Al 
As my new owner has told you, my name is Murray. Here is a photo of me on their boat. I LOVE boating and swimming. My owners have even given me my own float!! I make sure that I don't "mess" their boat, when I have to "go" I jump off and swim to shore, then come back. I just wanted to say "THANKS" for saving my life!!! |
