Samme

just realized that this year we have had "Samme" for 10 yrs. My mother
adopted her a few weeks after our dog "Muffin" had to be put to sleep.
When Muffin wasn't around anymore I had such emptiness inside me. I
had a dog around me from the day I was born. It was almost impossible
to live without the pitter-patter of doggies’ feet. And to come home
without his happy face to greet me was even worse. I will never forget
the day I came home to Samme. We got her Oct. of 1991. I came home from
school and thought I had seen a dog on the porch. I thought it was in
my head. But it was a dog. It was Samme. She filled that space in my
heart that Muffin left and then some. She is my fur angel. When she
looks at me I know I'll always have unconditional love from her. She's
always there and I love her. I can't thank The Thomas J. O'Connor shelter
enough. Thank you for finding my angel.
