Buster

My husband and I adopted Buster a Pit Bull mix from T.J. O'Connor Dog Pound in November 2000. She is now about 1.5 years old and is an absolute joy! She has a good energy level but is not hyper, enjoys going everywhere with us, is social, outgoing, good with other dogs, and eager to please...just loves life!

Starting at 4.5 months we began participating in companion obedience classes starting with puppy socialization, Basic I & II, Companion and Therapy I, and we are continuing on. We both enjoy the classes...it helps to strengthen the bond between the two of us as well as prepare her to be a "Go Anywhere" kind of dog.

She has done well and is eager to continue learning. She also does well with our female Doberman "Jasmine". They enjoy each other's company with supervision of course! I encourage more people to take a good look at the Pit Bulls & Pit Bull mixes that are in need of homes. They can make wonderful family dogs in the right homes.
