LettyTen years ago after my fathers death I decided that a dog might be a good companion for my elderly mother. The Lady at Rowley was a sweet lady and really pushed me towards a young female lhaso apso. Well the past ten years with Letty have been wonderful for my mother and to my surprise my self also. Letty I'm sure is the one to blame for my mother's robust health and her costant companionship is a true godsend. Well in april of this year Letty began having epileptic fits and was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and congestive heart failure. For the companionship and love that this little dog has so unselfishly given the thousand plus dollars for diagnostics and the additional costs of the many medications that would extend her active life, were a small fee to pay for what we have received from this happy little animal. Well this past weekend [9/02] Letty passed in my moms arms at her home leaving my mom and yes me..a gruff hard working carpenter heartbroken...Letty we miss you and maybe we'll find another little Letty but never will you be replaced. sent in by John
