Chloe
Chloe was a 4-month pup when I adopted her from TJ
O'Connor. Funny and sweet, she was full of spunk and energy. Not
to mention cute as can be.
Now full grown, she's the apple of my eye. My best friend and companion.
Chloe
came into our lives because we had adopted a male pitbull. I had
to have one of my own!
The bond Chloe and Barry formed was instant, Chloe looked up to her
big brother.
Now as adults, their favorite game is fetching the
toy. They spend hours running back and forth, each carrying their
half of
the "special
squeak. "
Chloe and I have completed two rounds of obedience
and one of agility. Now in March we'll begin our Attention class.
We always
go with her
best buddy Lenny, the one year German Shorthaired Pointer and his
mom. It's more fun with a friend!
Chloe and I like nothing better
than to take a ride in our beetle convertible on a sunny day. The
wind in our hair and soaking up the
sun. Don't be surprised if you see us some day tooling around with
our shades on and our scarves flying in the breeze. The girls on
their next
transport of a dog in crisis. I can't count how many times Chloe
has come with me on dog rescue missions. She will sit patiently for
hours
waiting while mom helps a fellow pooch. She's the perfect rescue
partner!
Chloe and I have had sleep overs at her Auntie Noreen's,
who has 4 doggies of her own. Chloe and Rosie love to romp in the
back yard.
She finds the pups that Auntie fosters so much fun.
Chloe is the
favorite of my daughter Kate and Kate is usually a kitty person.
Chloe's smile and sweet disposition have captured Kate's
heart too. How could you not love a girl who gives the best kisses?
We call
Chloe, "the prettiest girl there is".
Chloe and Barry have
taught me that pitbulls are the most loving and gentle creatures.
I often wonder why every house doesn't have
one of their own?
